Nursery

All this room needs is a baby!

Beginning of Summer

We started our summer by hopping on a train and heading west to Montana. Although the train ride didn’t live up to my expectations, it was nice to see my family. We were able to celebrate my niece, Kayleigh’s, third birthday. Zoe really enjoyed playing “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” at the party. We were also able to see my littlest brother, Chris, graduate from high school.

Zoe received her first dance metal at the end of the dance school year. She also received a “know it all” certificate for knowing her dance routines so well. Zoe had her dance recital on my birthday, there isn’t a better gift I could have gotten. I was so proud when the curtain opened and she was on stage, posed and ready to start dancing. She did AMAZING, I don’t think she missed a beat in the routine, and didn’t seemed fazed by the audience. I couldn’t help but shed a tear or two! Zoe is looking forward to dance starting back up this fall and is hoping to do tap!

Zoe has been enjoying the warmer weather by playing in the pool, running in the sprinkler, and riding her bike. She is looking forward to going camping with Jared this weekend.

Zoe’s New Bike

The Easter Bunny brought Zoe a new bike!

Dance Outfit

Zoe brought home her dance recital outfit last night. She looks so cute wearing it. She had to practice her dance routine while wearing it this morning. It was hard to convince her to take it off and keep it in her closet until her recital. She said “But Mom, that is all the way to summer!” She’s right, it is a long time to wait.

3 – 1

We had our ultrasound on Friday. Amazing! We were able to find out that the baby is a GIRL! We are thrilled at the idea of having another little girl. It is so amazing to me that the baby measures about 6 inches and weighs just over half a pound and you can can see so many details! I am so in love with this baby!

Zoe is pretty excited to have a little sister. We asked if she wanted to share her room with her sister and she didn’t like that idea. She said, “No, I just want my own room.” She does want to hold her, play with her, pick her up, and pinch her chubby cheeks!

I am excited to see Zoe as a big sister and meet this new little girl! Only 144 days left to go. Well, at least that is when I am due, lets hope it isn’t more than that. :)

4 Year Check Up

Zoe had her 4 year well check today. She is a very healthy 4 year old! 42 3/4 inches tall (95%) and 40 pounds (90%).

We were able to watch her dance class practice tonight. She is usually front and center, dancing, and singing along with the teacher! It was fun to watch her interact with the other little girls in the class. Her dances are very cute and I am excited for her recital.

I had my monthly check up today. Everything seems to be progressing the way it should. I was able to schedule my ultrasound for Friday. Will Jared continue to be outnumbered by girls in the house or will he get his own little mini me? Can’t wait to find out.

Thinking Spring!

I have not been very good about keeping our blog up to date. I am going to try and make more of an effort to update more frequently.

Zoe just celebrated her fourth birthday! It is hard to believe she is that old. She enjoys her birthday, so much so, that streamers and balloons are a must have. She took full advantage of it being her day! She asked for a juice box at 8:30 in the morning and said “It is my birthday, ya know?” Of course I gave in! This is the first year that I haven’t made and decorated a cake for her, I missed doing it!

I start week 18 of my pregnancy this week. The baby is moving around quite a bit and gives me a little jab every time I bend over. I guess he/she doesn’t like me cramping its space. I am hoping to have an ultrasound in the next couple of weeks. I am very anxious to know if this baby is a boy or girl! Zoe often asks how Bambino (our nickname for baby) is doing. She is ready to be able to feel the baby kick. I am excited to see her face when this happens. She is going to be a GREAT big sister!

Thanksgiving

I asked Zoe to tell me 5 things she was thankful for. Here is her list:

1. My Dance Teacher
2. My Mama
3. My Daddy
4. My cousins
5. My family

Zoe’s Favorite Song

Every time the NFL commercial with the song “Snatch and Grab It” by Julia Lee would come on Zoe would dance and quick jig. So we downloaded the song, here she is dancing…

Dance Class

Zoe had her first dance class this week. She was so excited and loved going! This was the first time that we have had to drop her off and leave her somewhere (besides with family). I think it was harder on me than her. We asked if she missed us, which was quickly answered with a “No!”.
